Thank you... I didn't have a pattern. I measured the size of my minky fabric backing and made the blocks to fit within that size.

The Hole in the Barn Door blocks are 13.75" squares
    The sashing is 3.25" x 13.75" rectangles
    The cornerstones are 3.25" squares

How fun to customize a quilt especially for your friend. Great job.... thanks for showing the backing, I haven't noticed patterned minky before.

What a wonderful use of those kitty faces! I believe I have a fabric with cat faces on it and putting them in the Hole in the Barn Door block will work great for them. This would be a super quilt to make for our local rescue's auction in a few months. Thanks for posting this.
