I would just faint if I opened a box with a quilt in it from anyone and would double faint if the quilt was as beautiful as that one. I won't ever have one from my mom as she passed away when I was 1 1/2 years old. My foster mother quilted and my children have one of her quilts. Give your mom a hug and tell her too keep on quilting. She has such a good talent. 87 years old. WOW! Happy Birthday Mom and I wish you many more wonderful years.

Beautiful! Both the quilt and your mom! I'd be jealous too! In fact I am, of you my mom passed away in January after having fallen, I miss her terribly but know how blessed I was to have been her daughter and to have enjoyed her so much we were very close.
