It is all hand pieced and hand quilted. I was clearing out photo albums last night and found pictures of her piecing it about 6 years ago!!!
Now I'm jealous of my cousin!
By the way, Mom turned 87 last week!

No, no it should not go to your cousin it should go to you. did you ask your mom? Tell your mom you will send several hundred dollars on flowers to the cousin in mom's name if mom gives you the quilt.

Wow what a gorgious quilt! My mother is 84 and she still quilts, but sews her blocks on the sewing machine, Most of the times she ties her quilts, but has sent one to a person who has a long arm to quilt it. Ohh mannn I've been wanting a long arm for years! I'll probable never own one, but I do have a total of 5 machines. Every one have a great day, Huggies, Fay

Oh wow, thats the "I'm not from Boston" by Erma Gayle Hatcher...the pattern is out of print and very much in demand so don't get rid of it....I've been working on one for about 5 years and have the medalian and 8 blocks done..I love the way she sets her blocks..really different. In her pattern she does sawtooth around every block...so pretty.
