I purchased a new fabric covered recliner chair a month or so ago and wanted to protect it so from a spare yard or so of material that I had used for my Hospital quilt which now resides on the back of the chair, I made these set of protectors.

Besides quilts and table toppers do any of you make home decor things, if so I would love to see some pics, may get some ideas

I'm wanting to do a couch cover, sort of a cross between a throw and a slipcover. DD got Grandpa and Margaret's white couch and that's just not practical to try to keep clean in a house with kids. I got a great buy on some nice soft suedecloth upholstery fabric. Now to get it stitched up when nobody's sitting or laying down on it! May have to wait till after school starts.

I did something similar for my two chairs and couch but I under estimaed my yardage and ended up making little covers. I never thought about covering the foot rest. Great idea. Also, love your quilt.
