It's called 'Double Star'. Here's the tut:

Oh the quilts are so fun to look at, thanks for taking us to the show! :0) I too would like to know if the 10th quilt pictured is a pattern, not so much the applique, but the block itself?

Again, thanks for sharing the 'eye candy'.

Thank you so much! This is THE pattern! I have one block that I made in 30's fabric and then lost the pattern. Now I can make the quilt!
This block looks difficult but it really isn't. Just take it step by step and before you know it you will have the block made. I have bookmarked the site, also downloaded the pattern.

#10 is pieced like a 9P. I haven't worked out the math on it yet, but a dark strip and white strip are sewn together that equals 4.5", the same as the squares, 4.5" to finish @ 12.5" block. I've seen this type quilt before. I think the squares must be 4.25" so that it comes out right. If no one finds the pattern or name, I'll be glad to work up a tut on it.

TFS all the nice pics of the quilts! We enjoyed this QS!!!

So glad you can finish the quilt now!!!!! I was thinking of making this quilt so I had saved the tut on it, but I don't really need a tut, but love the way it turns out! Be sure and post your finished quilt!!

I have the pattern in a magazine at home. It is made with 4-patches; 16 with 4 red squares, 15 with 4 brown squares; 80 that have a red and green opposite with cream for the other two; and then I can't remember how many cream 4 patches. You lay them out on a diagonal using alternating cream and colored (brown across the top and bottom; green down the sides) setting triangles at the ends. I made on with reds and browns and I am currently making one with greens and browns. I'll see if I can dig up a picture of my finished one.

Found them. This is before I put the borders on; the inside border was 1.5" gold and the outer was 3" brown.
