    Default Homestead

Homestead is an Anita Goodesign. This was my first time of appliqueing. I dedicate this quilt to my mother-in-law that passed away a week before I got it finished. She is the one who inspired me to quilt. She made many quilts and wall hangings for family, friends, and for benefits. She did get to see some of the individual blocks before I got them sewn together and quilted. She would smile when I showed her the completed blocks, she was unable to talk.

Your work is beautiful. I'm sure your MIL was thrilled to see your work even if incomplete.

Your quilt turned out gorgeous. Yes, your mother in law would be smiling.
