I like it very much! Thank you for helping me with the idea. I am going to do one for my bedroom. Have been stressing over what to do for window treatment for some time now. Have nothing on the window at present. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

My feelings exactly! I just showed this to my dh and he said that would be fine to do with our windows. I now have a new project... like I didn't have a hundred in my mind already.

We are so lucky to have so many talented people to help us with new projects.
I am so happy to have found this site, I could just eat a bug. I think inside the box most of the time but you lovely ladies and gentlemen are helping me get out of that box.
I now think I will start thinking about my front room window dressings. WOW am I excited about having another project. Really I mean it.
I am going to learn how to send pictures of how I am coming along with these new projects too.
I am just putting the outside borders on my granddaughters 3-D pinwheel quilt and think I will try a table runner. I feel soooo blessed to have all of you, what great friends from all over the world.

WOW, thank you all for all the nice compliments! And it's still just hanging there with pins  I got sidetracked, I think I have ADD when it comes to quilting.
I really hope that y'all post pictures of what you come up with for window treatments. I still have a few windows to do :-o

If you look at Eddie's tutorial on Cathedral Windows, you'll see a picture where he has several rows joined together that make points at the bottom. I think that would make a beautiful valance and give you the experience of doing CW!

Your valance is beautiful. I like the contrast against the beige shade.
