We are now in Louisbourg for the night and will tour the fort tomorrow. They are in for a big encampment weekend but we will be on our way to Newfoundland on Friday. It is the 250th anniversary of Louisbourg so it is a busy summer for the French.
Acadian flags flying all over the Maritmes. It is terrific to see. What a great country we live in and how fortunate that we are the largest "melting pot" in the world!!!
Glad so many are enjoying my pics. Will continue to post later next week maybe.

I'm figurnig by now you are here on the island. You have good weather to drive across the island. I got back into town last night from spending the weekend in Terra Nova. It was hot hot hot there! we hit a huge thick bank of fog on the way home and had to take our time cause the moose are curious of the headlights and come out on the road. With poor visibility you really have to take your time. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your travels!

Yes we have been on the islanf since the 25th. Now at Gros Morne Park .
Rocky Harbour RV Park. Plan to be here a couple of days then head up the west arm then return to the midlle and work our way across. No cell phone service for us until we reach the east of the island apparently. We have Rogers so I will call when we have service.
Saw a moose yesterday!!
