I made the first for my niece who is 11 and is taking riding lessons and loves horses. My sister in law loved it so much that she asked me if she could hire me to make another for my nieces friend who also took lessons...so I made the second for the friend...I love appliques...must be something abt my childhood and cutting out paper dolls...
Used the same backing for both

Wow! You did a great job. I know they are proud of them and blessed by you that you made the quilts for them.

    Great Job!
What type of Applique did you do on the horses? Also, can you tell me where you got the pattern of the horse from?

Thank you and once again, LOVE the quilts!!
