I think green would carry your eye through. I like the idea of blue cornerstones in your outside border.

I would pick green, which is rather funny for me, because blue is my favorite color. I think as barbm said greens strips with blue corners would be great too.

As far as binding, I would use the same border fabric for the binding.

I was just looking through the replies and realized that when I posted my (blue) opinion, I was thinking border, not binding. Now that I realize - duh! - that you're asking about binding, mine is an especially loud BLUE vote!
