    thanks LOts and Amma. I don't know if people actually use them or not. There are several hundred of them out there somewhere. Some went to Japan with a missionary for welcome gifts and some went to the Netherlands.

    With my cut down methods you don't use tiny pieces. The smallest I used here is 1 1/2" but the 1 1/2" is made up of fabrics sewn together and then the 1 1/2" is cut out of the center. It is easy to do.
