Default House warming wall quilt for son's first home.

Japanese Geisha quilt done as a surprise for my son's first house. All the kanji is cut out of black felt and each is phrase is appropriate to Japanese philosophy for most, and others are for the particular geisha block it's on. There is a printed-on-fabric patch on the back translating all of the kanji on the front.

Oh that is beautiful. for some reason I love oriental quilts. My Sister does too. she lived in Okinawa for years while her husband was in the service. I have lots of oriental prints, must get a quilt or two or three made one day.

Outstanding! Such beautiful work, I have a soft spot for all things Asian, the simplicity and the beauty in your quilt is truly a work of art. Thank you for sharing with us!

That is just a wonderful quilt, filled with meaning and beautiful, too. A great addition for your son's new home.
