Thanks all….and as one member wrote, it is not an original. It was from the Quilters' Newsletter and was on their website over five months waiting for all the individual patterns.

Yes, it was LABOR, not always of love…..it made me a bit weary at times, but when it was ready for quilting, it was a JOY……. I am having a long-arm quilter do that for me. It was just too big….50"x80"... too much of a challenge for me.

It is my original as far as the colors go. Their choice of colors on the original were purples, blues, pinks, greens, etc…..
I preferred the Christmas colors of the reds & greens and I made the stars' background a "flag" blue rather than the white background on the pattern.

I am going to add embellishments to some of the patterns, I have teeny-tiny gold seed beads for the poinsettias' centers….and perhaps a bow or two on the presents and "who knows what" as I go along!

Wonderful work. I like the bright colors. I could never work with that many pieces.

My scrap club did that as a year long project last year, mine is still in the works. Congrats on finishing it. Great job!
