    Megan, those are great covers, you did a fantastic job on them. May I ask what pattern you used for these and where did you get it? I would love to make covers like these for a neice and hubby for Christmas gifts. Thanks Gerbie

    It's gorgeous and a wonderful gift. I'm watch this thread for the link to your tutorial. I read your description of wire in the corners but guess I need a picture to understand, thanks for doing a tute for us!

    It looks like it just covers the top CORRECT? If so there is not danger of overheating. The bottom on the laptop has the venting fan and shouldn't be covered up. Can't wait to make one!!

    It looks like this cover only goes over the monitor part of the laptop. I never turn my laptop off and my monitor is still cool.
