Amazing the differance just from the borders. The dark border makes it look like a sophisticated artsy quilt. The pastel one makes it perfect for a little girl.
    Great job.

Thanks everyone for all your kind replies. And to mpspeedy who said
the black one (glowbugs) looks like a sophisticated artsy quilt....geez...blush...I'm so pleased to have such high praise. I love art quilts but don't make them really. This one won't look very sophisticated when it's finished though. I plan to quilt rabbits, squirrels, cats, dog, frogs, etc in the blocks and maybe just some kind of continuous leaf pattern in the borders for the glowbugs. I'm on the lookout for ice cream shapes for Sherbert Swirl and will probably just do a swirly pattern in the border.

It sure makes a difference with the borders doesn't it? I swear I posted a comment to this yesterday, but I don't see me on this thread..... Maybe I forgot to his Submit. Your quilts are both beautiful!!!

That is interesting. They are both beautiful. Think I'm drawn to the dark bordered one - but you can send either one and I'll accept it!

    And welcome from Flushing, NY
