    Good job! I went to my first needle turn applique class Tuesday, and worked on it some today. I think it's really relaxing. Teacher recomended silk thread and you can't even see the stitches it is so fine. I'll post it when I post the rest of my pics.

    I love your retro owl! My late MIL collected all kinds of owls such as figurines, wall hangings, jewelry, etc. I've seen some cute patterns for owl wall hangings that I'd love to make for her if she was still with us. (Hmm...I bet my DH would like one in her memory. I'll have to give that some thought.) Anyway, I think your first applique project looks great!

    That is so cute. Other than standing at the ironing board to long, did you enjoy the process? I love applique. Finished one today, except for sewing the binding down. Will do that tonight while watching TV. Keep up the great work.
