R--where are you having it quilted?
You have NO idea how much your comments mean... I've seen your work up close and personal, so know how talented you are - and having someone with that kind of talent leave a nice comment is so special.

This one is for us. I'll have gone from no Christmas quilt to two. My IRR quilt is also a Christmas quilt and should be back home soon! Just got pictures of it from Candlequilter this morning. That will be in the family room, with this one on our bed.

Ivy Thimble is doing the quilting and putting binding on the front (leaving me to handstitch to the back, bleckkk). But it won't be home until after Christmas, probably. I'm okay with that - we need some time apart!

Really, I'm not affiliated with www.quiltville.com, but can't say enough good things about her. Great patterns, free, and lots of inspiration as well as instruction.

A new mystery quilt will be coming @ quiltville in November!

Thanks, everyone, for the kind comments. I think with so many points, even though there are plenty that are lopped off, they don't really show until you are looking for them. Trust me, they are there - as are some frighteningly small seam allowances. But, as I said, it's kind of freeing - I already know this is not perfect, it has flaws, might not hold up, etc., so I am going to use it. No sense saving it as it's not show quality piece anyhow.
