Re the fabric from the thrift stores. I have a real problem knowing what's cotton or poly/cotton. If it's not marked how do you figure out which is which?

I think it's almost impossible to tell with some items. If it doesn't have a label, I don't buy anymore. Hey, Alberta! Nice to meet you!

Thanks for replying, same here, if no label, I don't buy!! (I think the shop owner might oppose me setting light to the edge to see if it frays or melts LMAO!!!!

Well, I've been trying to talk my hubby into a trip to the UK for the big quilt show. I've finally decided if I do I'll fill up a couple of extra suitcases with new fabric and maybe I can get free lodging for fabric.
