    here are a few from the 2nd fabric she chose - this is the one I really wasn't sure about but I like it - I think I'm going to set them with triangles though so the kalidascopes stand out

    here is the original fabric for the 2nd one -- it is only a 6" repeat which did have the benefit of only needing 1 yd

    Though with the smaller repeat, you'll have a smaller quilt!
