I think it's a variation on a Karen Combs or Stone quilt.
    Hang on....

(I always get those 2 confused)

    It's a Karen Stone quilt.

She won 1st place in Innovative piecing at Houston
Scroll down, it's in the middle of the page.

It's basically a clamshell quilt, but she went to down on putting amazing applique or piecing instead of using plain fabric.

I'm hanging on too, it's fabulous... kind of looks like a basic clam shell type background but then with PP, applique etc thrown in. I would think you could make your own version, using this as inspiration, if curved seams didn't bother you. Or perhaps fusible applique for the circuley bits?

Thanks MTS - you edited while I was still typing. :-D

Exactly!! You could really go to town just doing fused squiggly things, or a more involved pieced DJ-type variation.

And you can see from her layout how she has the pickle/orangle peel like shapes (or whatever you call them) so she could turn the corners with her clamshell. They just disappear into the pattern.

Bad timing as her website is under construction.

I don't recall this coming out as a pattern or software. But once you decide on a size, then it's totally up to the maker.

    I love quilts like that.
