How many people hand quilt vs machine quilt?

No machine quilting for me.
I tried once and don't have the right tools.
I LOVE the handwork but my hands hurt most off the time...not just needle pricks but muscle pain.
Still, I don't think I'll stop.
I looked into the cost of a better machine and decided it did not make sense for how I spend my time.
I would like suggestions though, for using my old Elna or the Kenmore I have. Both date from the 1960s. The Singer I have is probably older, but not like the antiques I've seen online here.
I carry my quilts everywhere and quilt at swim meets, on long car trips and even during my lunch hour at work! Don't tell anyone but I even have quilted at stop lights on the S-L-O-W ride home through Atlanta traffic.

I made a baby quilt for a friend many years ago (1967) and my Grandmother showed me how to tie and tack it. I made many that were tied and then took a class on hand quilting (with my grandmother) and decided that was not for me. But I do love my HQ as it is so much faster as a full time job cuts into my quilting time.

I will never have a longarm Well unless I hit the lottery ...
Tried the machine quilting UGH
soooo, hand quilting it is, I just finished quilting a twin with the big sticthes I seen on here, I must say it was very meditative and relaxing.
I would like to find a comfortable frame that suits me, as I plan to keep handquilting the "special" ones, I will tie the quickie ones.
