    I just finished my Log cabin Lap quilt .... I have flannel for the back .... Im not sure how to quilt it !! I know how to SID , stipple, and motifs..... will the flannel make a difference ? Ive never used flannel for the backing !! ANY TIPS ? IDEAS ?

    it's about 60 x 60

    That is gorgeous! I've seen some beautiful quilts on here with feathers in the log cabin area. Then a small stipple in the middle?

    Gorgeous!!! I used flannel on the back of a doggie themed quilt once and I don't feel it made any difference.

    It's beautiful! Love the applique with it. If you stipple around the appliques, they should "pop" out. Feathers are beautiful on a log cabin. You could go to Google Images and search for log cabin pics. You might get some quilting ideas there too.

    Beautiful quilt. Many people to feathers in the light area and then stitch in ditch for the darker blocks. You could outline quilt around your flowers, or even a small stipple in the white area behind your applique.
