I took a picture of my Featherweight next to my full size Singer 201 treadle.

I like my Singer 301 for taking to classes too, it has a built-in handle and weighs just 16#.

Featherweights are worth having just because they are so adorable but I also love to sew on mine. I love to hear the sound of it as it sews. Your picture is perfect for showing the size difference!!

I'm taking my featherweight to my mystery quilt retreat this fall for the first time. It's going to be great not dragging my big machine and I won't have to worry about messing up the computer. I'll have a lot more work space on the table, too!
