OK. I am looking for pictures tonight to put in the borders between the strips. Most that I have are really old and not that big. That will also help me gauge the width of the borders. My co-worker is going to help me do the transfers. She has a sharp brain when it comes to these things!!!! Of course I am waiting to the last minute to change my mind on the original "KISS" (Keep it simple stupid). lol It's not like I didn't know about this yesterday! I still like the idea of applique though, and will leave room for that also. I will take pictures at the end of the day and post them for ya'll when I get home Monday or Tuesday.

I like it separated, but I think thinner strips.

I prefer it separated by the borders too.

If you are going to add pictures to the sashing, then the wide is great. Otherwise I would make the sashing about half the width you show.

Great idea for your family reunion. I like the second version better. I think it would be nice to have extra room for people to write special memories from the past.

I like it best with the white borders.

seperated with borders! Nice choice of colors, by the way.
