Default HST Baby Quilt

A recent finish for a new great grandson. He is using it for 'tummy time' because it is so bright. As usual, the pic is dull, but the quilt isn't. Northcutt charm pack - the Colorworks Concepts line with yardage for the border. The turquoise is one of my favorite fabrics, Moda Marble Swirls, from my stash. Just lots of half square triangles.

I really like that one! I love graph paper for figuring out hst's designs. I can never figure out how many without it.

I agree, but with two layers of batting, it was harder to FMQ.

I love 1/2 square triangles, and this quilt is wonderful with the separation of lights and darks! Great job.

Thank you. Using a charm pack made it hard to decide if a few were light or dark, but all in all, it worked out. Loved that line of fabrics and it saved buying little bits. I just had to choose one for the border.
