After the Society told me that foam would only melt, I started using polyfill batt. The HS will really appreciate any pet bed you donate. Some people donate knitted or crocheted blankies.
The reason I ask is because I have a lot of fabric clipping and was wondering if these would work in the pillows for animals?

Awesome. It would be nice if everyone made items for the animals at the shelter. Another idea is to check with your local
shelter and see if they have any fund raising events during the year.

I just made 65 bibs with a friend to sell at the shelter's craft fair table that is coming up. They also sell baked goods that people donate and that is very successful.

Never thought about that.....superb idea! Thanks.

That is such a great idea. Especially if they get to go home with it. That's a good way to use up your scraps of fabric and batting to go for a great cause. I know my cats just love to lay on blankets.

One thing to think about...be careful on the batting...these get washed a lot and some battings get too fluffy...using towels for the batting is the best!!!! They love fleece! My Stella my profile picture is a rescue along with one of my other cats.
