    This is one of my daughter's favorite books from childhood...she's 23 now. I bought some of the panels and fabric for the same reason. One of these days, I will surprise her with a quilt (for her future children).

    LOVE it! I went the Brown Bear, Brown Bear route with my fabric choices recently.

    But seriously! Who wouldn't cry if they opened up a gift of a hand made quilt!

    Glad you found interest in the fabric because that quilt came out sooooo beautiful. I can see why she cried - it's very fitting for a teacher, particularly one who has a 2-year-old. You just know it's either gonna be worn out from love, or the centerpiece of a room!
