What a neat grandma you are, to do all that fine piecing and then the great quilting.
I remember being a bit younger than Cohen when I played with the quilting lines on my babysitter's quilt ... more than fifty years ago!
Your gift will make a BIG impression on your good looking grandson ... you just wait and see! <g>

Diana - - Your airplane quilt is wonderful! Did you use a pattern? I have been looking for a good airplane pattern for an almost 2 year old boy. Thanks!

Thank you, Marcia, Omak, Quilter4u, and Bakerdebnit!! I really appreciate it! :D

I got the pattern from: http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/SimplePlanes.pdf
It was really easy -except for having to really watch my seam allowances when doing the sashings! lol!!! I used wonder under, and then just zigzagged around the edges just to make sure they're staying put.
You'll have fun though, if you make it!! :-)

How lucky is that little guy? Your quilt is darling. I haven't done anything with sashing yet. It looks like yours is perfect!
