I love your quilt. I think you have just sold the Accu Quilt dies for this quilt. I was waiting until I saw some dies that I thought I would use more than 1 or 2 times, and I am too thrifty to just buy the strips or blocks dies.

No Bonnie Hunter did not come up with this design. It is a very old one. But Harriet has quilted my Bonnie Hunters and knows I am going to be in the show and tell in Shipshewana in November.

I'm fairly happy with the die, but it does hold some threads. I'm not sure why. I have not told Accuquilt this yet. I've been meaning to, but have been fairly busy.

At least I've got the phone down pat.

This is my first HS. I wanted to get the pattern down before I ventured into multicolored ones. My inspiration is one that was put on this board for a granddaughter. It is navy around the edge and ivory, pale coral and grey in the body. I bought Deb Tucker's book on HS and have several I want to attempt. They can all be cut with the Accuquilt. When I get this one done, I'll make a tute on what I did complete with pictures. My ways might not be the best, so take it with a grain of salt.

Of course cutting with the Accuquilt uses up slightly more fabric than cutting it from strips. So I had to scour the internet for another yard. I'm still not sure if I have enough. To make matters worse, I used scissors to open the package of the last yard I received today and snipped the fabric. Good Grief! I can't believe I did that.

Hi Marcia, your Hunters Star looks fabulous! So glad you got the phone pics to work. Thanks for being our local guide when we were shop hopping all over northern Indiana! You are so much fun!
