Lovely quilt and great to see you made it big enough for the quilt to “always fit on her bed as she gets older” (I wanted to say “for her to grow into it”, but can’t say that because she has “already grown”....haha).

This quilt was the inspiration for me starting a HS. I just loved what you did. So I wrote to you and you said the fabrics were batiks. So I bought the Deb Tucker book, and the Accuquilt die, as another friend is also working on one and thought it went together beautifully if it was cut with the Accuquilt.

Deb Tucker's book is overwhelming with all the ways you can put this together to get this and that effect. I thought I'd better start out simple and so I am making a two color with some borders. Even then I can get the wrong pieces sewed together or turned wrong.

Thanks so much for sharing your granddaughter's reaction and the close ups of the quilt.

I'm not really a 'Hunters Star' fan, but this quilt is exceptional! Love it!
