Doris chose 2 shades of green and purple to make this beautiful Hunter's Star quilt. I wish the picture showed how nice her quilt really is. When I loaded it on my handguided machine - I had know idea how I was going to quilt it. My hands started moving to stitch leaves in the outside borders, followed by curls on the inside border. They followed with ferns in the background and more curls on the stars. I used Hobbs poly batting and a light green thread throughout the quilt. I quilt with a Gammill Classic, no computer, no stitch regulator.
