This is exactly what we did. It is such a wonderful way of seeing how it will turn out. I'm a visual person I can't imagne real well!!

Thank you all for such wonderful suggestions. I took to heart your suggestions and decided that I shouldn't take this on for a first long arm quilting experience. I have few others to practice on first. I really liked the wavey idea and after trying several designs that is what we decided on. I feel I have left my quilt in good hands. I feel very confident that its going to be beautifully quilted. Will post pictures when I get it back.

Cindy, it turned out gorgeous! I saw on another post that you were having Candlequilter do the quilting? It will turn out just wonderful! This is a pattern I've put at the top of my list but that list is really long! Please share another picture after you get it back!

Thank you so much Karen. We missed you on Saturday! I did spend some time with candlequilter on Sat. when we went to WA for the quilt show. She is going to do an awesome job. I will post a picture when I get it back. My thoughts are I'm going to give it as a gift but its hard because I'm realing liking this quilt a lot! I'm glad its on the top of your list it wasn't hard just a lot of fun.
