This is a Hunter Star lap quilt I just completed. It is from a class I took from Peggy Gelbrich at Quilt Colorado in June 2010. The fabric I used is not what I would usually select. The fabric selection was a real stretch for me. I'm usually an earth tone person and very seldom use florals. If you ever have an opportunity to take one of her classes, I highly recommend it. She's very knowledgeable and helpful. This quilt was made without Y seams! Great way to get perfect points.

Very nicely done. I'm doing a quilt with many y seams now and that won't be happening again - at least not for a very long while. Great technique when you can produce a quilt without inset seams that would normally be required.
