    Beautifully done! I love Hunter's Star. There are so many quilting patterns that would be lovely in the block, that it's hard to choose. How about a pinwheel to carry on with the diamond shape of the stars? Or something curvey to contrast with them - like the feathers we all love.

    I really like the way you did your border. This is one of my favorite designs another happens to be your avatar the storm at sea. Does anyone know how to make the Hunter's Star without that or any other special tool? I know that Keepsake Quilting sells it being made with thangles?

    QB is soooo bad for my kid's inheritance!!!!! thanks for the pic. I have been seeing these hunter star quilts here on the board. and even looked for the template in joann's today when I was shopping. but didn't know what I was really looking for. and so didn't find it. thx to you, I have one on the way!!!!
