    Default I am trying to use more solids

    for years I avoided them,except black.Hope you like it,I am not fond of pink either-so solids with pinks,lol.It is a baby quilt and in the to be quilted pile.

    I am a print person too!! I have to make myself use solids and especially pastel fabrics of any color. Your quilt looks great!

    I really like your quilt. I think it looks very nice. For a long time all I would buy was floral pieces and then I realized I needed solid colors for some of my quilts. Keep up the fantastic work you do!!!

    Simple, pretty quilt. Most of us do use less solids, but yours is very nice. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree with GingerK. I think you've chosen really well. Its funny how we all have different preferences with fabrics. I'm the opposite to you. I always feel safer with plains because the thought of combining the wrong patterns scares me. I'm even like that with home furnishings - no patterns other than in my daughters room, plain walls, plain carpeting. I think the only time I combine patterned fabric is if its a range put together by someone else!
