Looks great. If I needed another board (which I don't) I think you could use one of those benches from an old fashioned vanity set with the huge mirror and just recover it with the right fabric and that would work for those of us who don't have "handy" types with us. But I was wondering about the height of yours?

What a wonderful thing for him to make you! It is handy and stylish! He seems like he knows you so well and what you need for all of your quilty things. He's a keeper!

That is sooooo cool! I'd love one of those -- unfortunately, my DH isn't handy like that...

Isn't it great. Thank you for all the lovely comments, I've passed them on and he's feeling pretty proud. :D

He said he'd love to come over and visit you all, just send the tickets! (he can't travel without me of course, can't find his socks on his own you know) ;-)

I'm lucky he's so handy, and clever at building stuff, but more than that, I'm lucky he understands the importance of having the right tools for a job and how much easier life is when you have the right equipment.

Wow Blue, your husband did an outstanding job!! He needs a big hug and kiss, which I am sure you already gave him. You must be walking on air!

See you have a cat scanner too.

I just love siamese cats. Once I get my house finished I am going to get a pair. I lost my baby at 18 years old. She was a tortise shell in color but with all the markings of your Chocolate point baby. I miss her so much. Can't wait to get my pair.
