I'm still laughing here, haven't laughed so hard in a long time.
But I don't see where your block is bad at all, we all
have went through it and sometimes still do even after years of
quilting. Just stick with it, it'll get easer as you go along. :D

Joan do not be so hard on your work! I think you did a great job. The next one will be better & so on. I agree that finished is better than perfect. So do not be hard on yourself. We are our own worst critics. And we all learn with each project. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. I have not tried the tube method yet but am going to & I grant you that yours will be better than mine will be. I always make a couple of sample blocks first out of ugly fabric or lesser quality fabric I have on hand. Then I do my actual quilt block. LOL Thank You for sharing.

Hang in there and keep going...your first block is fantastic compared to mine...My mantra "the seam-ripper is your friend".....

    Too funny, CarrieAnne
Looks like many of mine. Quilting remains a learning process for me.

    LOL
I wouldn't worry about it Joan.
Btw, I think you did a fabulous job on that block. Native American's say "Nothing is to be made perfect, only Wanka Takan can do that."
And wanka has a very different meaning down under, but we spell it wanker. I am married to a Northerner Joan, so I knew what you meant, nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more.
    Hows your pussy, BTW????
