Default I Bought the Same Pattern Twice

I saw this quilt at The Christmas Goose Quilt Shop in Las Vegas. Loved the quilt and bought the pattern. Went back the next year and forgot I had already had the pattern and bought the pattern again. Decided I needed to make this one! I sew with friends on Saturday. We pick a project and then we each make our own. So the extra pattern was passed to my friend. We made 2 1/2 " triangles and then swapped with each other so we would have variety in our baskets. The pattern is "Gathering Baskets" from Primitives by Lynda. Didn't really follow her method of making the quilt and did change the border so it would fit the bed, but the quilt is her inspiration.

Beautiful Quilt -- I can see why you would buy the pattern twice! I'm glad you got inspired to make it.

It is beautiful. Did you do the quilting too? How did you get the quilted flowers so perfect?
