I bought the sewing machine with table!

What a bargain! I got it for £20 ($27). It fit neatly in to the back of my brother's car, so we took it away there and then. The machine is a Singer G105, I've had a play with it and it seems in fine working order. The table seems in pretty good nick, maybe needs a sand down and a wax.
Not sure what to do with it really, my own machine is better but I don' think I can adapt the table in any way for it to fit it. It is a SInger table and seems purpose built for the machine. I may keep the table and Singer and just use it for straight line quilting, it will be so much easier to do with a machine that sits flush with the table top. Even if I decide to sell the table and Singer I think I could make a profit on it.
We'll see!

Great buy! I hope you get to enjoy it. If it doesn't work, than as you said, maybe you can sell it at a higher price. I have an old singer that had a sewing table sort of similar to that. Could not fit my Pfaff into it. Now I have a new Machine and a new table.

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist Mary lol!!
You got a great bargain there, it will handy when your new machine has to go in for service...so you don't suffer withdrawals :D
Can you drop the feed dogs on the Singer, as it would be alot easier to free motion with it being flush with the table.....no excuse to get practising now :D :D :D

What a bargain :D :D One of the ones I have (with a touch and sew in it) I am saving for my daughter. She wants to learn when she's done with school and has a place of her own large enough..she currently shares an apt with 2 others near campus. So for $27 there may be someone you know that needs a present of a machine and some encouragement!!! And you will get a sewing buddy!!! By the way, my daughter has a yellow tiger kitty named Peanut Butter, looks very much like yours!!
