    I would make the queen size because I tend to think bed quilts are more useful, but what the others said about looking at different layouts really makes more sense. Who knows what layout you will find out there that will inspire you?

    I'd go for queen. You would be able to see more of those beautiful blocks.

    It really depends on what works for you. Why 61? I would think 63, so you would have the option of going 7x9

    I would say a bed size, twin, double or queen. Those blocks are really wonderful, they have to stay together.

    If it will go to a LAQ, I'd go for the gusto, but if it's to be quilted on a DSM I'd either QAYG or stick with a smaller size than queen. I'm just finishing up the binding on a floral log cabin that measures 86" X 108". I did it all on my DSM and I tell you, I should have stuck with my original plan to QAYG! lol
