Default I can now do Y-seams in my sleep!

This has been a long term project, and many firsts. The fabrics are Civil war repros collected over the years while waiting for inspiration to hit. I used Marti Michell templates for the sunburst-first time using templates, and first time really doing y-seams. Pattern inspiration came from Sunflowers and flying geese, by Arlene Heitz. I did not really use a pattern. I need to stay stitch the quilt edges, and think about quilting this....will be done on my domestic machine.

It’s beautiful. I’d also love to see it after it’s quilted.

This is gorgeous! I really like it and don’t know how you got the top finished, that’s a lot of piecing!!! I know you said was a MM template/ruler but which one do you use for the sunburst? You really have made an awesome quilt top...now get it quilted!😉😂😂
