Man-O-Man, you have just inspired me with your four strips of fabric and then squared plus cut into quarters! This method sounds so much easier than my usual strip sewing onto muslin for a quilt top. I am off to my sewing room now to tackle that big basket sitting upon the floor full of left over fabrics. I generally cut my left overs into 2-1/2 strips for charity quilting so I am off and running all ready. Thank you so much for sharing your hubby's beautiful quilt-in-progress. That navy is really accenting everything. Congrat!

Whoopie! I just found you again. I made some of your blocks and wanted to share but could not find your link. Now that I went ahead and posted, I found you. Anyway, if I have done this correctly, my comment and photo is listed at the following location. Thanks for the block suggestion.

I didn't know there was any kind of a design until I was laying the blocks out and there it was. I got so excited that I made my whole family come look at it, now I have to show it to you all.
There is 2 different pic's. I have more blocks than this just so you know. Thank you for looking.
