    Thank you, Gal, and I want to say I loved reading your method of your rag rug! I have one too I want to do a tute on one of these days. Know everyone will love the one my DM did and will see if I can remember how she did it. Love those "pass it down from generation to generation" directions just like your famiy did too!     WOW i never liked the snowball till now! the colors you used sure give it that "down home" look. nothin' better than scrappy. you really did that pattern a great justice by showing it could be done differently than the way it is usually shown. i love it and your neice will too!

    Thank you, just_the_scraps_m'am!!! Love that name! And yes, I love scrap quilts and I hope I did justice to this pattern. I made sure none of the hourglasses had the same fabrics in them. Each cornerpiece coming together is different. Know that my niece will love too! Don't know if I'll ever see her, but it was done by faith with love. Thank you for the great compliments!
