The first is certainly better than the second, but I'd like to see a larger print. Nothing wrong with the brights, it's the scale of the prints that bother me.

BTW, don't ask for opinions if you aren't going to listen respectfully. After all, they are just that - opinions and given by people who care enough to respond. Of course, you are going to make the final decision.

I like the first one; the colors are a perfect compliment to the colors in the really cute blocks. Perhaps not a wide border, though.

I like the first better, but I think a larger scale print would be much better, or a PPed 'lawn', that is grass all around. If you are interested, PM me and I'll supply a pattern.

I like the second option, the one with the ladybugs!! Nice quilt!

I like QM's suggestion that you do grass for the border. Perhaps in many shades of greens. Give her a PM and at least see what the pattern looks like.

As much as I love ladybugs, I think # 1 is the best option. It is so colorful and goes better with your blocks. Love it!

i don't care for the first at all. the ladybugs is light and small print and doesn't take away from your beautiful quilt

I vote for a solid color to bring out the blocks which by the way are great. Thanks for sharing.
