    I don't understand the bit about the edge pieces needing to be larger. I never heard that, and I have made several quilts on point, and never had that issue. Was it specified in the pattern?
    Your quilt did turn out really beautiful, without being on point. I like the colors a lot!!

    The churn dash, or hole in the barn door is one of my fave's. The colors are perfect together. Good job!

    Beautiful! And I prefer it 'straight up' too! It's such a great block and the design shows up better the way you did it. :-D

    I'm so happy you included closeups of the fabrics. That made such a difference in the way I appreciated that gorgeous quilt.

    Great job on the quilt the colors and the pattern! Did you by chance get your fabric from Connecting Threads? The had some similar to what you used.
