Lalaland what kind of bags are you doing for the troops .Would you please post pictures. Thanks Sandy :-D (sandy mac)
Well phooey, you would ask me that question after I have already mailed them off and I didn't take any pictures. They are the Am. Sewing Guild's 2010 charity project. You can find the pattern by searching for U.S. Troops Drawstring Bag. They are filled with toiletries and sent to the troops, who then give the bags to local kids when they return home to the states. To make mine unique I embroidered stuff on them like Peanuts characters, John Deere Tractors, mermaids, giraffes, koi, whatever struck my fancy. Now I'm kicking myself for not taking at least one picture.

O.K. here's mine. I have to stay fairly neat and tidy as it is only a small room and has to do double duty with sewing and painting.

Only have small stash of FQ which is kept in cupboard.

Gosh, I can't help but be jealous of the amount of space so many of you have.

Mind you, I do appreciate my sewing room - after all, it took 22 years for my son to move out before I gained one!

the one thing I've noticed with some of the sewing rooms, is that the sewing machines are crowded in with things all the way around...that would drive me nuts, I need room, lots of room, left side, back ,with pin cusion on the right.
I don't have alot on my sewing table expect ruler caddy, and bucket with tools in...just MHO

I LOVE your avatar picture! I have two kitties who are always doing goofy things! Too cute! Thanks for the smile :-D
