Okay, so I took the dare .... the reason you have to stand on your head in this area is b/c that's the ONLY way I can find anything!!! This is my part of the living room ... when we move I get my OWN Quilting Room and you WON'T have to stand on your head to find anything!

I'm with you Mary! My sewing area is in our bedroom and the table/desk I use is covered with WIP's and (more times than I'd care to think) DH's clean laundry so I lug everything out to the kitchen table. Now everything's all over the house.

Maybe I should post a picture of where I want my sewing area to be... it's in the garage... which really doesn't look any better than my sewing area back in our bedroom. haha :D :D

Well, I just learned the term a couple of months ago. Avatar is the picture you have posted with your notices... it's just a personal symbol, picture etc.

Welcome to the new millenium, eh?

Very cute!!! I'm impressed you can stand on your head! What will you do when everything is right side up?

An "Avatar" is just the picture we use to identify ourselves. So, the picture that shows up right below our username is the avatar. Some people's "Avatar" are pictures of their pets, or maybe a lake, or a car, or whatever is personal to them. A lot of us use quilts we have made (like you) (This confused me at first to, until someone explained it to me! )

    I WANT your room!![/quote]

This use to be our 2 car garage and my DH converted it to his workshop, well as my stash got bigger I booted him outside to a 30 x 30 building and took over his space, still could use more room.
