Oh, you are so ON girl, check this out. And I have 2 projects going, both near completion. I bet a lot of us do our best work amidst chaos. When I'm done with the 2 projects, I'll have just as much fun cleaning it all up in preparation for the next tornado to hit.

Marsye, I loved it! We probably all feel that same way about whatever space we're working in. You're such fun!

How do you ever get any sewing done with that view? You are so fortunate to live in such a place.

BuT WAIT - there's SEWLOVED's area surrounded by the fence - I'm guessing there's little kids involved in the home somewhere or is this how hubby keeps your hobby in line? LOL :)
    LOL!

It keeps little kids out. It also keeps DH away from my scissors.

The gate can expand. So, I keep buying expansion pieces and making the space bigger and bigger. Eventually, it will take less gating to surround the kids than my stuff.

You asked for it. The first three are supposed to be my sewing room. It's now my fabric warehouse. the wall of closets is usually full to overflowing, but I've been dragging things out. And the two 1940's metal dressers are full. they are going to be our vanities when we build the master suit. (after powder coating).

The other pictures are what used to be our living room. I've been on a tear, so it's not good. There is more fabric in the closet and under the bed in the guest room.

What you can't see to the left is a 14 foot sliding glass door to the backyard.

Just finished all but 15 out of 62 packages of the R/W/B block swaps. I am anticipating about 20 more packages by next week!

I love this and it pretty much describes my room/rooms too.
    Thanks for sharing.

hazeljane - that's what I'm missing - a fabric warehouse! My husband suggested I put my sewing room in the family room, lots of room and a beautiful view of our backyard, but it's that beautiful relaxing view that is so pleasant when family and friends are over to visit and/or have dinner so.......I'm in the back bedroom. My husband is incredibly neat (I obviously am not). He would go bonkers if I spread myself out like that. I wonder if I could get some hanging ceiling bins installed in the bedroom..........mmmmmmmmmm..............

I like all the clean ones, I couldn't create anything in a messy room. I share my sewing room with 4 cats and if I don't keep everything put away, they would lay all over it and get hair all over my fabric. I can put everything away in a few minutes. Enough incentive to keep it clean and straight.
