Changing the color doesn't change the creation, it modifies it, therefore it wasn't created by you. Be careful on copyrights.

    Otherwise the quilts are beautiful.

I absolutely love your quilts!!! They are soooo beautiful!
I love your color choices. The 2nd one is my favorite. I am sure they will do good at the quilt show. Good luck!

Thanks--there's a spot on the form where I put the the name of the pattern or magazine where the idea came from. All of these came from somewhere--I just modified the lay-outs and color ideas.

I would love to find the pattern for the Watercolor Floral Log Cabin quilt. Can you tell me where I can find it?

De Dee--that's just the block--it's a log cabin with narrower strips on the light side. Simple. I've posted close ups of a block before--so if you search my posts for it--it'll show you what to do.

Your colors are stunning! I can't help you with the paper work but I know I would have a home for them :]

They all are great, Karla!! Of course, I'm partial to one! (big grin). For Best of Show, I think you must have quilted them too, so they won't qualify for that title, but you may get something like Viewers Choice instead. As far as design, all thee patterns are in the public domain, so you can claim the quilts as your design, not from a pattern or kit. Good luck, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I knew your favorite, gaigai. Oh--your "own design" rule makes sense.

I emailed a woman from the guild--her email was on the forms--to ask some of my questions. No reply yet. My main conern is to fill everything out accuratly. I got to thinking when I drop them off, they will go over the paperwork and make any adjustments they need to. I don't care about Best of Show qualitifiations... I just want to be able to define what these terms mean.
