    Wow, it looks great. I'm going to try one next week, I have alot of purse patterns, I guess I should post the one's I've made. I have a hard time posting them.

    Thanks everyone, my plaid is a copy of the famous burberry fabric, I was just lucky to be able to find some and whatever you sew with it comes out very nice.

    OMG.....I just saw your question.....YES! You have to sew the bottom before putting in the stabilizing bottom piece.......
